2021: Ability to work with Cyrillic mail addresses

Version v21.300.0 of the main module "Bitrix: Site Management" includes an update of the functions responsible for working with IDN domains in email addresses, which allows you to work with Cyrillic e-mail. CMS now supports both Cyrillic characters in the domain part of the address, for example, info@поддерживаю.рф, and fully Cyrillic EAI addresses (short for Email Address Internationalization), such as инфо@поддерживаю.рф. This was announced on July 27, 2021 by Bitrix.

"Bitrix: Site Management" supports Cyrillic mailing addresses

Until now, to ensure the operation of 1C-Bitrix: Site Management with Cyrillic domains and EAI addresses, it was necessary to override a number of functions, now all the tasks of validating and sending e-mail to Unicode addresses are implemented by the CMS kernel. So, when entering such e-mail into news subscription forms or feedback forms, they are not blocked by validator functions, and mail messages are sent to them normally.

The update was the result of the long work of 1C-Bitrix. At the end of 2020, the project Поддерживаю.РФ tested CMS to identify inconsistencies with universal acceptance and based on the results, recommendations were published with examples of refinement of Bitrix: Site Management and WordPress to ensure work with partially or fully Cyrillic mail addresses in the mailing module, as well as in feedback forms.

As the project manager Supported. RFMaria Kolesnikova noted, 1C-Bitrix: Site Management was the first widely used CMS system in the Russian market that fully supports Cyrillic IDN domains.

"Despite the fact that the company's second flagship product -/ cloudy ERP-CRM system Bitriks24 does not yet support working with Cyrillic EAI addresses, we see a movement the Russian of software manufacturers towards supporting Cyrillic domain names and e-mail," added Maria Kolesnikova.

1C-Bitrix: Site Management became the second popular Russian product to include support for Cyrillic domain names and e-mail according to the project Поддерживаю.РФ. In June of this year, confirmation of compliance with the criteria for universal acceptance in the domain. The Russian Federation received the CommuniGate Pro platform, combining server solutions for e-mail, messaging, calendars and IP telephony.

Test Results Chart

Site speed is a complex indicator consisting of many factors:

  • quality hosting and its location,
  • page display speed,
  • quality of site development and its availability via Internet channels.

Testing was carried out using the Site Speed service. It differs in that it helps to evaluate the client perception of the site. Bitrix: Site Management 12.5

The next version of the product - "Bitrix: Site Management 12.5" was released in March 2013, which the development company announced on March 19.

This version contains a large-scale update for the e-commerce sector: a mobile application for managing an online store, warehouse accounting, sales incentive management and the Security Scanner service.

The product includes an application aimed at owners of online stores: "Bitrix: Administration," where the management section supports awareness of the state of the store, orders and customers, there is the ability to monitor the movement of goods and manage orders.

If necessary, you can display detailed information about the order, change the statuses, allow delivery, and mark the payment. Owners can get reports on their mobile devices on iOS and Android platforms.

Inventory and Marketing Activities

The new version of the product includes functionality for warehouse accounting. With it, you can process receipts and write-offs of goods to the warehouse, transfer between warehouses, and maintain balance records. Barcode accounting is available, which significantly saves time when shipping or entering goods in the catalog.

The functionality of managing discounts and shares, stimulating sales has been finalized. Their configuration mechanism allows you to create various promotions for the online store aimed at increasing sales.

Security Scanner

Among the important technological updates of the platform is the service for monitoring the vulnerabilities of the sites "Security Scanner." For the first time in world practice, a "cloud" service has been developed for CMS, which checks the resource for external and internal security threats.

Using this service, site owners will be able to scan the project environment, check settings, find potential vulnerabilities in the code using static analysis, and make sure that all security systems are configured correctly.

Now even non-specialists in information security issues can do this. Together with the existing Proactive Protection module, the Security Scanner service will allow you to fully diagnose and prevent web resource security threats in a timely manner.

Improvements affected the performance of the system as a whole - a mechanism for automatically combining CSS and JS was developed, which leads to a reduction in the number of elements connected on the page and speeds up the output of pages to the user. Reduced the number of queries in the product core, faster operation of menus and site templates.

As part of the announcement of the main product, the company introduced another novelty - "Bitrix: Mobile Application."

Bitrix: Site Management 14.0

On October 29, 2013, Bitrix announced the release of Bitrix: Site Management 14.0.

The new version of Bitrix: Site Management 14.0 presents a ready-made online store with adaptive design, opportunities for selling a wide range of products taking into account SKU and units of measurement, improved integration with 1C, functionality for working with delivery services in all regions of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, instant search by goods. Also in the new version appeared the cloud service "Site Inspector," which provides monitoring of the availability and health of the site in 24/7 mode.

In 2011, Bitrix became one of the most popular paid proprietary content management systems. According to W3tech, whose researchers study 1 million of the world's most popular sites according to Alexa, in November 2010, Bitrix (in foreign delivery Bitrix) ranked 13th out of 102 possible. Its share was 0.8% among sites built on CMS, or 0.2% among sites without CMS or on its own engine. Above "Bitrix" in the ranking were three other commercial systems: vBulletin, DataLife Engine and Expression Engine. Other places in the top-13 were taken by CMS, created according to the Open Source model.

Almost in the same period, in October 2010, in the domestic rating of the iTrack, Bitrix took the total 4th place with a result of 7.52%, passing ahead free CMS Wordpress (29.62%), Joomla! (28.92%) and commercial DataLife Engine (11.16%).

Interestingly, the iTrack rating, where only commercial box (circulation) products were taken into account, showed Bitrix capturing more than half of the CMS market in Runet with a result of 50.76%. DataLife Engine did not appear in this listing, because it did not satisfy the requirement of "circulation."

According to the developer's own information, as of March 2011, more than 50 thousand sites operate on the 1C-Bitrix platform

Bitrix: Site Management 10

In March 2011, the developers of the domestic CMS (Content Management System) "Bitrix" announced the launch of 10 versions of the product.

The company has 10 innovations in its product, of which three focused on working with mobile devices seem to be the most interesting: one is a platform for developing mobile applications BitrixMobile, and the other two are ready-made solutions for launching a mobile version of the online store and information portal.

According to the CEO of 1C-Bitrix, Sergey Ryzhikov"perhaps this is the first implementation in the world in CMS of the mobile store"[2]Although it may most likely require refinement of the designer and web encoder, theoretically, the store is ready to launch "out of the box." The demo version of the store is deployed by Bitrix on. servers Amazon In addition to the platform for the mobile online store "out of the box," the template of the "information portal" is available.

BitrixMobile technology, which allows you to create mobile applications using HTML5, now supports the platforms iOS, Android and BlackBerry. Symbian support is planned.

As an example of an existing mobile application written using BitrixMobile using HTML5, Sergey Ryzhikov calls the password generator BitrixOTP. A one-time password of six digits as an element of proactive protection of the site administration is usually displayed on the screen of a special key. BitrixOTP allows you to get it on the phone screen, even if it is offline. According to Ryzhikov, now the application is awaiting approval in the Apple App Store and Android Market.

According to the head of Bitrix, the creation of a mobile application for accessing the online store can be a strong marketing move for owners of online trading sites, since being once installed on the phone, the application will encourage the user to contact the store again.

In materials dedicated to the release of Bitrix 10.0, developers offer a path for converting web applications into executable files for working on mobile platforms Apple and. To Google Android this end, Bitrix offers to use the open framework PhoneGap Nitobi.

Prices for Bitrix: Site Management version 10.0 have not changed since the time of version 9.5 (with the exception of the Expert edition, which has risen in price from 28.9 to 34.9 thousand rubles). Opportunities for creating mobile sites in it are present from the second most full version of "Start."

Bitrix: Site Management 11.5

In the new version of the web project management system " Bitr ix: Site Management 11.5," for the first time for circulation CMS, the online store is fully integrated with CRM (Customers Relationship Management).

Now each owner of an online store on the Bitrix platform has the opportunity to maintain a single customer base, convert each order to sale, as well as increase the volume of re-sales through effective accounting and analysis of customer information.

CRM with an online store is integrated in two ways: through the Bitriks24 cloud service (if up to 12 employees work with the service, this is completely free) and through the Bitrix: Corporate Portal box product.

Integration of CRM with the online store on the Bitrix platform allows you to:

  • Process all orders directly in CRM
  • Combine orders from online stores, including from different stores, into CRM
  • Collect and store all customer information
  • Set up bidirectional CommerceML data exchange between CRM and online stores and update the schedule data
  • upload "leads" from the site from the web forms to CRM (for example, if potential customers complete questionnaires on the site, a feedback form);
  • Automatically distribute "leads" between managers (for example, depending on the amount of the contract)
  • build a funnel to assess sales performance and more.

When editing, the order form in CRM opens directly from the online store. And for this, the manager does not need to log in to the online store. As a result, all orders are up-to-date in both the online store and CRM, and if the manager creates an order in CRM (for example, on a customer call), it will immediately appear in the online store.

As a result, the owner of an online store can organize a comprehensive order processing system consisting of an online store, CRM and 1C: Enterprise (for organizing warehouse accounting and logistics).

The module "Social Network" has been significantly updated. There are new opportunities for expanding the functionality of communities and social networks: a web messenger that allows you to communicate efficiently directly through your browser without installing additional programs; calendar of events and events; mentions of users in messages with automatic notification to these users; internal message system, when a message, including with attached files or photos, can be written directly from the "Live Feed" of the community and addressed to specific users or groups of the social network.

The new user-friendly interface for working with files in "cloud storage" (the product supports "clouds" Google Storage, Amazon S3, Windows Azure Storage from Microsoft, an open project OpenStack and others) allows you to load data into the "cloud" as it happens in the usual file manager. Files downloaded to the cloud can be used like regular files on the site (for example, select an image in the cloud to announce news or paste it into text on the site).

It is possible to save site backups in "cloud backup" and restore "backup" from "clouds." And if your site uses files from cloud storage, you can also add them to your backup. This reduces the cost of ownership of the web project and simplifies the storage process.

The proactive protection package is supplemented with a tool for auditing the security of PHP code and now allows not only to prevent the operation of the vulnerability, but also to eliminate its source. Verification shows potential vulnerabilities in the code in the report and enhances site protection from hacking.

Bitrix: Site management integrated with CDN

For the first time in the world, integration with CDN with the provision of free traffic became available without additional settings. Now the owners of the active commercial license "Bitrix: Site Management" can literally "one click," without additional financial costs, increase the speed of downloading site pages, which several times increases the conversion of online stores.

For several days of open access to the content delivery network, it was connected by more than 1000 Russian sites of various topics, and their owners note that the average page opening time decreased by 40-70%, and on some sites with a large amount of static content - even several times, the load on the server infrastructure decreased by 40-50%.

The CDN connection is extremely simple: the owners of sites with an active commercial license "Bitrix: Site Management" when updated in the administrative part select the option "Enable site acceleration," and the transition is made.

Over an integrated CDN network, you can transfer almost all the static content of the site - pictures, style files (css), javascript, etc. - and this on average consumes up to 80% of the volume of traffic. The CDNvideo network uses proprietary original algorithms for efficient use of a geographically distributed server infrastructure in conditions of dynamically changing loads. Network nodes are located in the largest cities of Russia and Ukraine; in Western Europe, the CDNvideo network is present at key traffic exchange points. Due to these features, the CDNvideo network provides its users with a consistently high quality of viewing web content.

An important argument in favor of CDN is the reduction of the load on the server infrastructure of the site: static content of the site is cached on CDN nodes and distributed to users through the servers closest to them. Thus, CDN servers receive 50 times fewer requests to the site than when they directly service requests from live visitors - this is the average for static content.

"Without exaggeration, our cooperation has opened a new stage in the development of the Russian CDN market. For those who are well versed in this technology, it has long been clear that its use should not be limited to the distribution of "heavy" content. CDN changes the very perception of the site by visitors, which positively affects the business of any company. We were sure that almost every Russian enterprise really needs CDN, and not only the largest media portals, "says Gorodetsky Yaroslav, CEO of CDNvideo. - But only integration of our CDN with the most popular Russian CMS made this technology truly available to tens of thousands of companies. Free. Without any risk. And literally "in one click." The dynamics of connections and the absence of "swing" exceeded our expectations and showed: they really waited for such a decision. I'm sure this is just the beginning. Repeated acceleration of the site is too serious an advantage to slow down, because delays work against the company. "

Bitrix: Site Management 12.0

Bitrix introduced a new version of Bitrix: Site Management 12.0. The main changes in the new version are the completely updated design of the administrative panel, integration with the CDN (content delivery network) to speed up the download of site pages, the "cloud back," advanced functionality for online stores and the new Bitrix D7 core.

The most striking change in the release presented is the new version of the administrative panel. The smart interface is aesthetic and causes pleasant emotions when you first meet, is convenient when the user works daily. When designing it, an approach was used to template the routine actions of users for various work scenarios. Even with a cursory acquaintance with the administrative panel, you can quickly identify the main elements of control, understand their work, and significantly reduce training time. More complex control functions do not overload the interface, their visual presence is minimized by the use of modern animation technologies.

The new design of the Bitrix: Site Management administrative panel is adapted to work with touchscreen interfaces of mobile devices - smartphones and tablets. The design concept was developed by AIC.

In the new version of Bitrix: Site Management 12.0, large changes affected the e-commerce module. The finished online store, which is part of the product, is supplemented with new features, new designs and expanded functionality.

The new version now not only helps to quickly create modern online stores, but also contains unique opportunities to increase business efficiency. The product includes 8 standard reports that allow the owner of the online business to quickly navigate the state of the number of orders, sales, profitability, new customers, the most popular goods, inventory in warehouses, the most expected goods, "abandoned baskets." In addition, the "Report Designer" is included in the delivery, which allows the online store manager to configure any other reports on various indicators.

The improvements also affected a large number of functions in demand in the modern online store: working with a catalog and cards of goods, managing orders, collecting detailed analysts about the actions of buyers on the site (viewing goods, previous orders, etc.).

For the first time in the world, the CMS platform is closely integrated with the CDN (content delivery network), with the provision of free traffic. This update will increase the download speed of the site page, which is achieved by caching the static content of the site on CDN nodes and further "distributing" to visitors from the servers closest to them. The peculiarity is that now this functionality has become available to the owners of sites on the Bitrix platform literally in one click without additional settings and installations. The opportunity is implemented together with CDN video. Also, now the product has the opportunity to make a "cloud" backup: create a backup of the site in the "cloud" storage. This allows you to quickly restore the site in the event of a failure of the main server, without taking care of the complex settings and administration of the backup server. The Cloud Backpack module is a free additional option for any license for Bitrix: Site Management (except for the First Site edition).

Key changes affected the core of the Bitrix: Site Management product. The new core is based on the modern approach of object-oriented programming and new technologies generally recognized by developers. An important tool has appeared - ORM (object-relational mapping), which allows you to structure data and have a single access interface to it. A single class library will be available, where various functions are collected and categorized. This makes site creation and management much easier and faster.

The "Highlight Infoblocks" module, created on the basis of ORM with support for NoSQL, distributes the load and helps to quickly find the necessary data, without slowing down the site, which is important for resources with high attendance.

Version 12.0 has improved integration with 1C. Implemented: unloading availability in different warehouses, unloading the catalog of goods from the site to "1C" (importing the website catalog to maintain records in "1C: Trade Management"), building a catalog tree in "1C" for uploading to the site (creating a new structure without redesigning the item directory).

Bitrix: Site Management 9.0

Version 9.0, has a number of improvements. First of all, this is a web-based antivirus built into the product. In addition, users now have ready-made site templates - with their help you can first quickly, without programming, launch a web project, and then bring it into line with your tasks.

Bitrix: Site Management 9.1

Starting with version 9.1, the Bitrix: Site Management line is supplemented by the new version of the First Site. The edition of "First Site" is intended for companies starting business online. The editorial board provides the necessary minimum for the start, representing an excellent solution for companies wishing to present their business on the Internet.

Despite the seeming modesty, the new version includes a number of modules that allow you to easily create a small corporate site, a business card site, as well as manage static content. You have also saved extensive editing capabilities.

The "first site" allows you to open a company representative office on the Internet with the least time and money or transfer an existing site to a new management system. A convenient and understandable product interface allows a regular user of a personal computer who does not have knowledge of web technologies to quickly master the system and learn how to manage the site in a few hours.

The administrator of a project developed on the basis of "Bitrix: Site Management - First Site" can:

  • Manage the structure of the site
  • edit the content of the site in real time using a visual editor;
  • publish news;
  • Post news announcements on the home page
  • create photo, audio and video galleries on the site;
  • Download product updates from 1C-Bitrix and much more
  • the ability to manage the product catalog (price changes, etc.) and much more.

The ability to switch at the right time to any of the available revisions (Start, Standard, Expert, Business, Small Business, Big Business, Portal) allows you to scale the project depending on the growth of the company's needs. Thus, your site grows and develops along with the development of your business.

The cost of the license "Bitrix: Site Management" in the editorial office "First Site" is 1900 rubles. Distributes the product through a partner network.

Bitrix: Site Management 8.0

As of Release 8.0, the Content Management System (CMS) "Bitrix: Site Management" includes the "Proactive Protection" module. This is a set of measures and solutions that protect against external attacks and prevent malware from infecting the site - activity control, proactive filter (Web Application FireWall), One-Time Password (OTS) technology, script integrity control and other tools. In the new version, this module is supplemented by web antivirus, which is its own development of Bitrix.

Web anti-virus is another layer of site malware protection. If other tools prevent the introduction of malicious code on the site from outside (attacks on the website), then this technology does not allow you to harm the user if the site was still infected. Web anti-virus detects malicious code in already generated html-pages - that is, the user receives clean traffic even if the site is infected. The administrator is notified that his site is compromised. This allows you to avoid infecting a visitor to the site even if, for example, malware hit the site through an administrator computer attacked by a trojan.

One of the reasons for the development of web antivirus was the analysis of trends in the distribution of web threats. For example, according to Yandex statistics, about 90% of compromised sites remain infected for more than 7 days, while 37% remain infected for more than 90 days. This clearly suggests that the role of the "human factor" is very large - the reason for the spread of web threats is often the inattention of site administrators to security issues. Protecting visitors to compromised websites and notifying administrators that their site distributes malicious code built into Bitrix: Site Management, web antivirus almost completely closes this vulnerability.

"Bitrix: Site Management" has added a new Site Creation Wizard and the ability to use pre-installed templates. The user can now choose which site to create during installation. The new installer offers a choice of one of the ready-made standard templates: the company's website (two options: for a company selling goods and a company providing services), a community site or a personal site. For each type of site, there are several design options and color combinations. Since the Bitrix licensing policy allows you to create two sites within the same license, the user can have two completely different projects - with different templates and designs, one of which can be, for example, a corporate online representative office, and the second - a social network to discuss the offered goods and services. Both sites will have a common management system.

A universal list editor has also been added. This tool is designed to manage lists (products, partners, customers, etc.) and has a simplified interface for editing and configuring fields and properties. Now, using the list editor, you can visually create stores of any type of information and edit data in them. Moreover, you can do this without entering the administrative part of the site and without the help of developers.

Thus, the main changes in the new version of Bitrix: Site Management 9.0 were aimed at such client requests as website security, growing demand for ready-made solutions, simplifying administration and minimizing the timing of web projects. In addition, in version 9.0, some modules were improved: the social network interface was changed, the media library was expanded, the photo gallery, blogs and forums were improved.

Users who have a valid technical support license and receive updates can upgrade to the new version for free.

IFRS At the same time, it is important for us to maintain a sense of drive and steering in entrepreneurs - so that a person understands that this is his business and he is responsible. The role of the central "1C" in the joint venture is to set the general strategy and the assistance that is necessary for the development of joint business: money, advice, reputation, technology, space, contacts, access to the sales network.

TAdviser review: How the 1C and Galaxy approaches to doing business differ

"1C" or "Galaxy"? How similar and how the main Russian ERP vendors differ

Boris Nuraliev: Large enterprises are no longer shy about introducing 1C, now it is fashionable

The founder and director of 1C Boris Nuraliev believes that his company has overcome its reputation as an ERP supplier only for small enterprises and has become a serious competitor to solution providers for large customers.

There is a legend that "1C" is only for small enterprises. It is partially due to our past, since 1C began with small companies, and is partially heated by our competitors. In fact, we are now seriously competing in the automation market of large enterprises, the largest holdings, Nuraliev said at a press conference at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in May 2017.

As an example of 2016 projects with large customers, he cited the expansion of the use of 1C products in Russian Post, Gazprombank, Transmashholding, Bashkirenergo, and Yunimilk.

Boris Nuraliev, founder and director of 1C

Boris Nuraliev also noted that "1C" has become fashionable. " In this, he sees, among other things, the merit of import substitution. The director of 1C says that in this wave in large holdings there were those responsible for import substitution, who need to report.

If earlier they were shy that they had introduced "1C: Enterprise," for them it was not as parade as the introduction of a large foreign system, now it has become easier to get consent to publish the very fact of the project, "he said.

At the same time, Nuraliev points out, import substitution is not a key factor in choosing 1C solutions by customers in Russia: "really, after all, no one will buy our systems only because they are domestic."

From the reports of partners on almost 200 cases of choosing 1C ERP solutions instead of foreign ones in the period from 2015 to February 2017, it follows that such factors as the cost of licenses, implementation and maintenance, compliance with functionality with the price, the presence of a large number of 1C specialists and partners are in the first place, Boris Nuraliev said.

The CEO of 1C told TAdviser that large customers do not occupy a very large share in the company's total revenue, since there are relatively few of them.

At the same time, Nuraliev noted that 1C does not seek to shift to the segment of large business: the company aims to cover the entire range of customers, including as small as previously not even worked with. For the latter in 2017, 1C released a special application "IP 6%" to submit tax statements, he said.

SBU announced the surveillance of Russian special services for Ukrainian companies with the help of software "1C"

On April 27, 2017, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced the danger of using 1C software, since it allegedly allows surveillance in favor of Russian special services, RBC writes with reference to Ukrainian Truth.

We urge our entrepreneurs to be careful  and make balanced decisions  about the software products that you use  in your activities,   "said Alexander Tkachuk, head of the SBU chief of staff, at a briefing in Kiev.

The Security Service of Ukraine convicted a local company of selling the Russian software product "1C"

The SBU website notes that the administration, updating  and support of 1C software is carried out  from the territory of the Russian Federation,  including through  remote access  to the equipment of the Kiev representative office of the Russian company.

Another fact was discovered of the presence of hidden control of the special services of the Russian Federation over the  situation  in the public  and private sector of the economy of Ukraine,  as well as over  enterprises that are located  in the territories of the so-called "LPR/DPR," the Security Service of Ukraine said.

According to Alexander Tkachuk, the SBU exposed a company that illegally sold 1C products  in the territories of the self-proclaimed Donetsk  and Lugansk people's republics (DPR  and LPR). In the Kiev office of the company, investigators found documentation confirming the facts of the "illegal sale of this software product in  the temporarily occupied territories," the SBU said.

This commercial structure, engaged in the distribution of 1C software, is included   in the sanctions list by the National Security and Defense Council. The company name is not disclosed. It is only noted that it is legally registered  and is actually located in Lugansk.

On April 26, 2017, the SBU reported  on the "exposure" of the leadership of eight firms that sold  and used banned spyware  from Russia.[2]

In addition, Alexander Tkachuk said that the FSB could receive data from Ukraine using the Stakhanovets employee monitoring program. More on this here.

3.6% revenue growth

In 2016, the revenue of the 1C group of companies, according to TAdviser, amounted to 37.300 billion rubles, an increase of 3.6% compared to 2015. In the ranking " TAdviser100: The largest IT companies in Russia" according to the results of 2016, the 1C group of companies took 7th place.

1C: Enterprise sales growth - 15.5% in rubles, outsourcing growth

In 2016, the volume of sales of the 1C group of companies with subsidiary, joint and retail enterprises, with the elimination of intra-group turnover, grew by 6%, said the founder and director of the company Boris Nuraliev at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in May 2017.

Sales of the 1C key product in 2016 increased by 15.5%, Nuraliev said. At the same time, license sales increased by 13%, and subscriptions and services - by 18%.

The director of the company also said that in 2016, the volume of sales of services and subscriptions for the first time in the history of 1C exceeded the sales of ON 1C: Enterprise licenses, although the margin was insignificant. The bias towards services and the subscription model is also a global trend.

About 200 companies from 2015 to 2017 chose the ERP solution "1C" instead of the "heavy" Western systems of a similar class, cited data in "1C." The chart below shows that "1C: Enterprise" is receiving more and more implementations in large organizations with a large number of jobs.

Implementation of "1C: Enterprise" by number of workplaces by year

"Previously, we offered customers to automate their accounting, now we can automate their main activities (trading, production) and outsource fiscal accounting: accounting, taxes, salaries," this is how Boris Nuraliev formulated a fundamentally new vector of his company's movement.

He recalled that 1C today is not only a leading developer, but also a recognized expert in the most subject area of accounting, including having developed a standard for the provision of accounting services. For several years now, the company has been developing two such outsourcing projects: 1C: BukhService (for small businesses) and 1C: Outsourcing, while developing a new partner network based on the developed freighing model.

Account outsourcing sales dynamics

According to Boris Nuraliyev, the market for outsourcing of accounting functions in the United States is 0.35% of the country's GDP, and in Russia - less than 0.01%, such a lag indicates a significant potential for growth in this sector of the economy. At the same time, in Russia it is growing at an average rate of about 25% per year, even despite the restraining opacity of Russian companies and the low qualification of many market players.

"We still occupy several percent of this market, but we can increase our share by an order of magnitude, and at the same time the market can also grow by an order of magnitude. Just as we created the industry of mass IT automation of enterprises, we are now beginning to form the industry of mass outsourcing of accounting functions, "said Boris Nuraliev.

Market share of Russian ERP systems

According to IDC, over the years, 1C has been systematically increasing its market share in terms of income in the Russian market for ERP systems.

In 2016, among the leading suppliers of enterprise management information systems (ERP, etc.) in the Russian market, 1C ranks second with a share in 32.9%. Compared to 2015, it added 0.2%. The leader here still remains SAP with a share of 49%. U - Microsoft 8.8%, y - Oracle 4%, y "" - Galaxies 2.2%. The remaining players account for 3.2%.

Supplier shares in the Russian ERP/ISUP market by sales volume in US dollars in 2003-2016,%

Commenting on the partly modest increase in market share "1C," despite the state's announced rate of import substitution, the head of "1C" Boris Nuraliev emphasized that the study took into account money in Russian currency.

"We have ruble prices, and in order to even just keep our share, we have to significantly increase sales in pieces," he says.

"1C" was going to conquer far abroad

1C is developing and preparing for launch a partner program for international partners working outside the CIS countries, founder and director of 1C Boris Nuraliyev said in mid-June 2013.

Under the new program, 1C is ready to provide them with development tools, technical support and encourage partners to create their own products on the basis of the 1C: Enterprise platform, as well as to promote them on the international market, he added.

It is worth noting that work in a number of countries far abroad "1C" has been conducting for several years. For example, since 2005, the official representative office of the company in Germany has been operating, which, through partners, provides customers with services for the development of custom business applications based on 1C: Enterprise, licensing, installation and maintenance of 1C products in Europe.

Other countries outside the CIS, where the company has partners and representative offices, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Turkey and Vietnam are listed on the 1C website. The 1C: Enterprise interface as of June 2013 is available in 14 languages, in addition to Russian. The last languages added were Azerbaijani and Chinese.

At the same time, 1C has not yet announced the sales indicators of its platform outside the CIS. Boris Nuraliev notes only that until now 1C have been engaged in work in the markets of far abroad "pointedly": there has not yet been global expansion and large investments in this area.

"The company" 1C "was led to success in the territory of the former USSR by two things: on the one hand, this is really good software, and on the other, we built a business approach that had not been used in Russia before, due to a good understanding of the local market," says Boris Nuraliev.

The "1C" strategy in Russia and the CIS countries is based on work through a partner network. As of June 2013, it has more than 6.5 thousand franchisees. However, the model that ensured 1C success in these markets is most likely not to work in a similar way in the international market, 1C believes. Now the company is thinking about various possible models of working with partners in far abroad.

1C will switch to electronic workflow with partners

From the 3rd quarter of 2013, 1C plans to offer all partners of the 1C: Franchising network a transition to a legally significant electronic document flow, said Boris Nuraliev, founder and director of the company. The corresponding information letter, he said, is in the process of preparation.

So far, in test mode, 1C has been implementing such a document flow since mid-2012, exchanging service acts and invoices with franchisees and distributors. It is planned to extend it to the conclusion of contracts.

In October 2011, amendments to Art. 54 GK ("Commercial concession"), regulating the application of franchising relations in Russia. In accordance with them, the franchisor has the opportunity to impose a number of restrictions on partners: for example, to require a certain level of quality of goods and services related to its brand and certification of employees.

After the change in the law "1C," the renegotiation of contracts with franchisees began: instead of information support contracts, it became necessary to conclude a concession agreement to join the network.

Contracts are concluded through the 1C CRM system: partners submit a request for new contracts through a web interface, after which it is reviewed and approved by the partner department. After that, a PDF file is automatically generated and sent to the partner with the contract that he signs, prints and sends both instances for signature in "1C." According to 1C, since 2011, about 34 thousand contracts and additional agreements have been concluded in this way.

To ensure a legally significant electronic document flow, an electronic digital signature is required . Its employees "1C" issues its own certification center.

90% of companies in Russia maintain accounting in 1C

According to the TNS study, which was reviewed by TAdviser on April 3, 2013, in 2012, about 90% of companies in large Russian cities used 1C products for accounting.

According to the study, they are followed by the BEST and Sail systems, whose shares in the number of Russian companies where they are used do not exceed 1.4% and 1.2%, respectively. Of the world leaders in the market of ERP systems in the list , Microsoft Dynamics NAV with a share of 0.2% can be noted.

1C representatives told TAdviser that their solutions are often used for accounting in those companies where the enterprise management systems of the world's largest vendors are installed.

"This is due to the fact that we, as a large Russian company, can respond as quickly as possible to changes in local legislation and reflect them in our products," 1C representatives noted in a conversation with TAdviser.

SAP and Oracle did not comment on the results of the TNS study. Microsoft told TAdviser that they see a constant increase in the popularity of Microsoft Dynamics NAV in Russia.

"We estimate that the number of new customers for this solution increased by more than 50% in 2012. The next version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, which we are working on localizing today, will be available in the traditional model (installation in its own infrastructure), and in the form of a cloud service based on Windows Azure, "said TAdviser in Microsoft

1C buys Megaplan

In March 2012, it became known that 1C acquired 51% of Megaplan. The investor of the first round - the IQ ONE fund (the main beneficiary is Ulvi Kasimov) - retained the Megaplan roadblock following the transaction. The organization and structuring of the transaction was carried out by the investment agency StartupIndex.

The investments will strengthen the development of the product line and expand the marketing budget, the parties said.

In 2012, Megaplan's revenue growth is 6 times higher than in 2011. The Parties expect that strategic cooperation will allow to implement closer integration of Megaplan's products with 1C accounting and management solutions and, as a result, offer new services and capabilities to partners and users.

Alexander Volchek, CEO of Megaplan, says that concluding a deal with 1C gives the company unique opportunities to develop and promote products:

"We are seeing a real revolution in the cloud services market for small and medium businesses. We expect that the investments received and reaching a new level of cooperation with 1C will allow us to realize ambitious plans - to grow faster than this rapidly developing market. "

During 2011, Megaplan implemented a number of strategic initiatives: in addition to products for organizing collaboration and task management, a line of CRM solutions was launched, representative offices were opened in Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and free products were announced for small companies.

Earlier, 1C became a co-owner of another cloud service - MyWarehouse. Funds for the acquisition of new assets "1C" received through the sale of a share of the investment fund Baring Vostok.

1C market share in ERP decreased for the first time in 9 years

At the end of 2012, the shares of SAP, Oracle and Galaxy Corporation in the Russian market for ERP systems grew, and 1C and Microsoft slightly decreased. This follows from the materials provided by TAdviser analytical company IDC in October 2013. IDC released the general market report for 2012 back in August, but then there was no data on the alignment of the forces of the largest players in it.

According to analysts, SAP remained the leader in the Russian market of ERP systems in 2012 with a share of 49.9% (in 2011 - 47.8%). It is followed by 1C, whose share was 29.2% (in 2011 - 31.6%), and Oracle with a share of 8% (in 2011 - 7.5%). Close the top five Microsoft, whose share was 6.8% (in 2011 - 6.9%), and Galaxy with a share of 2% (in 2011 - 1.8%).

It is worth noting that the 1C share showed a decrease for the first time since 2004 when IDC began to include the company in its reports on the Russian market for enterprise management systems. This happened after 1C launched the 1C: Enterprise 8 platform on the market. Then the company's share was 4.6%. The shares of SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and the Galaxy at the same time were 40.6%, 22.8%, 10.9% and 8.2%, respectively.

Since 2004, as analytical reports show, 1C has steadily increased its presence in the market, reaching a share of 12% in 2006, 22.3% in 2009, and taking already more than a third of it by 2012. In absolute terms, as can be calculated from IDC reports, 1C sales in the ERP market in 2012 continued to grow.

In 1C, TAdviser said that with the current state of the economy, they consider the result achieved in recent years to be "generally very good." Commenting on the decline in the company's market share in the latest IDC report, 1C notes that in 2011, sales of its 1C: Enterprise platform in the wake of delayed post-crisis demand jumped 74%. In 2012, the delayed post-crisis demand was already exhausted, and in the second half of the year there was a noticeable slowdown in the economy, stagnation began.

"Accordingly, less and less new businesses were created, more and more previously created ones were closed, the growth of the customer base slowed down, especially in the SMB segment, the most massive for us," explains the representative of 1C Alexei Kharitonov. - Enterprises began to save more and more, just as in a crisis. In the SMB segment, this led, among other things, to the fact that in our sales the share of cheap, "basic" versions of 1C: Enterprises programs, which IDC does not take into account in its review, has increased

An additional factor was a change in the situation in the state budget sector, adds Kharitonov: "if in 2011 serious changes in legislation caused a massive transition of budget institutions to new software products, including solutions of the system" 1C:Enterprise 8, "1C sales in this segment jumped several times and became one of the main drivers of growth, then in 2012 the situation normalized - organic growth continued from the level of 2010.

The company adds that for large businesses, the demand from which, according to IDC, is now the main factor supporting the Russian ERP market, 1C is preparing next-generation solutions on the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 platform, focused on more efficient and comprehensive solving of problems demanded by large enterprises for larger implementations.

"We expect that the planned release at the end of the year of the final version of the 1C: Enterprise Management (ERP) 2.0 system will allow us to further strengthen our position and increase our share in this market segment," says Alexei Kharitonov.

The company released beta version "1C: Enterprise Management (ERP) 2.0" in September 2013, and the final version of the product is expected at the end of 2013.

Purchase of My Warehouse service

In May 2011, 1C became part of the owners of Lognex LLC, buying a stake from the former co-owner, the investment fund Ambient Sound Investments. In the future, it is planned to increase the share of 1C in the project due to additional investment directed to the development of the MyWarehouse project. 1C intends to actively participate in the development of the MyWarehouse project together with its founders and co-owners Askar Rakhimberdiev and Oleg Alekseev, who will continue to carry out operational management of the Lognex company.

Director of 1C Boris Nuraliev:

"In the technology platform" 1C: Enterprise 8.2 "is already implementing functionality designed to use system solutions as" cloud "services provided through the Internet, including the SaaS model. With this in mind, we are working on various options for improving our business model, which is based on a broad partner network. The creation of a joint venture with the founders of Lognex will allow us to use the experience of the successful SaaS project "MyWarehouse" to further develop both our technologies and solutions and the business of our partners. "

Complex Delivery , 1C: Accounting 7.7, 1C: Accounting 7.7 (base version), 1C: Accounting 7.7. Simplified taxation system. Trademark "1C" is generally known

In September 2011, by the decision of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks (Rospatent), the trademark "1C" was recognized as well-known in the Russian Federation from January 1, 2006. Under current law, this gives the trademark indefinite legal protection and additional protection against illegal use. At this time, only 107 trademarks have such a status in Russia, 1C entered the same line as such famous brands as Intel, Disney, Bolshoi Theater, NTV, Gazprom, Sberbank, Coca Cola and Alenka chocolate.

The decision to recognize the trademark as well-known was made by the Expert Commission of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks on the basis of documentary evidence and a sociological survey conducted by the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 25 Russian cities. A sociological survey showed that 92% of respondents correctly identify the image of the trademark with the company "1C," while 73% know that this sign is used in relation to enterprise automation programs, 52% associate it with programs for home computers. On June 23, 2011, the 1C trademark was included in the List of commonly known trademarks in the Russian Federation, as confirmed by Certificate No. 106.

9% restructuring and sale to Baring Vostok

On October 1, 2011, it became known that the Baring Vostok Private Equity Fund IV invested in group 1C. This was announced by the management of the software company on Saturday at a partner seminar. About this "Vedomosti"[3]" said one of the participants in the event. The fact of the transaction was confirmed by 1C representative Alexei Kharitonov and senior partner of the Baring Vostokka foundation Elena Ivashentseva. According to Kharitonov, Baring Vostok invested in a new company, on the basis of which 1C consolidated assets: the 1C contribution was these assets themselves, and the fund contributed cash and received about 9%. The remaining 91% is controlled by 1C CJSC.

Only business related to licensing and work with state secrets remained in the full ownership of ZAO, Kharitonov said. With the exception of this direction, the new company controls the entire 1C business, Ivashentseva adds. Neither party discloses the amount of the transaction.

1C promises to use the funds raised to further develop, acquire and expand the structure of joint ventures. As a rule, Baring Vostok is a long-term investor, and in the case of 1C, too, Ivashentseva adds.

In addition, 1C and Baring agreed to create a pool of stock options for the parent company, part of which will be provided annually to key 1C employees, joint business partners and franchisees who play a strategic role in the development of the group.

About the negotiations between the founders of 1C and Baring, participants in the IT market and managers of investment companies told Vedomosti back in 2009. The basic documents for the transaction were signed, according to some of them, in the spring of 2011. Two years could be required to reorganize 1C, suggests the manager of a large investment bank: previously the company's business was dispersed across many joint ventures and needed centralization.

Financial indicator 1C calls only one - the dynamics of the turnover, which in 2010 added 20%. In 2010, the total turnover of Group 1C amounted to $608 million, RIA Novosti reported at the end of September, citing company materials (this estimate was confirmed to Vedomosti by a manager close to the participants in the transaction), and in 2011 it is planned to increase by 26% to $768 million. Capitalization of the main 1C competitors - SAP and Oracle - as of September 30, 2011 was 3.41 and 4.1 revenue indicators for the previous 12 months, respectively. If you apply the corresponding multipliers to 1C, then its valuation can vary from $2.07 billion to $2.49 billion, and the cost of Baring's stake - from $186 million to $224 million.

The value of the multiplier is determined, on the one hand, by the scale of the business, and on the other, by the dynamics of its growth, explains Nadezhda Golubeva, senior analyst at Unicredit Securities. 1C revenue is two orders of magnitude less than both Oracle and SAP; in terms of growth, 1C is at the SAP level (+ 19% in 2010), but is inferior to Oracle (thanks to the purchase of Sun Microsystems, it increased revenue by 33%). "As a first approximation," 1C can be estimated at three to four revenues, Golubev admits.

Start your own cloud

In December 2011, it became known that the site was launched in pilot mode to work with 1C applications from the capacity of the company itself through the public access network

It was also announced that an option program is being developed in 1C, in which both the developer's employees and the heads of the main enterprises of the partner network are likely to be able to participate. The largest of them, we recall, are 1C-Rarus and 1C: BIT, which have been engaged in acquisitions of smaller franchisees over the past years.

Fast Revenue Growth

In monetary terms, SAP is the market leader in ERP systems. According to IDC, in 2011, the share of this vendor in Russia was 47.8%, 1C was in second place with a share of 31.6%, and in third - Oracle, whose market share was 7.5%.

In December 2011, 1C projected that revenue growth in 2011 compared to 2010 would be 34% in dollar terms. This was stated by the founder and director of the company Boris Nuraliev during the traditional December partnership conference[3]. In October 2011, the group's turnover was expected to grow by 26% to $768 million[3].

For comparison, a year earlier, the growth of "1C" amounted to 20%. Revenue "1C" includes the sales volume of the entire group, taking into account the results of subsidiaries, joint ventures and retailers. Intra-group turnover is not included in the result of the company's work.

Absolute values in "1C" are not called. According to CNews Analytics in 2010, the company's revenue amounted to $608 million (18.4 billion rubles). Accordingly, in 2011, the group expects to earn over $814 million.

Sales growth of the 8th version of 1C: Enterprises in 2011, according to Boris Nuraliev, amounted to 74.5% in dollars (67.9% in rubles). Since the products of version 7.7 were removed from the price list as early as July 2011 and the share of the eighth version reached 94%, we can say that this indicator approximately reflects the dynamics of sales of enterprise management products as a whole.

1C progressively refines its software for the lease scheme. According to Nuraliyev, the total revenue from software sales as a service in the past months of 2011 reached 21.5 million rubles.

  • In the first nine months of 2011, revenue from sales of the 1C: Enterprise system in dollars exceeded the level of the same period of 2010 by 78.7%, said representative of 1C Alexey Kharitonov.

2010: Surge in sales after the crisis

Financial indicator 1C calls only one - the dynamics of the turnover, which in 2010 added 20%. In 2010, the total turnover of Group 1C amounted to $608 million, RIA Novosti reported at the end of September, citing company materials (this assessment was confirmed to Vedomosti by a manager close to the participants in the transaction).

1C does not disclose total revenue data. According to CNews Analytics, in 2010, the holding's turnover amounted to 18.4 billion rubles, which is 15% more than a year earlier. In 2010, 1C first entered the rating of the largest software developers in Europe, prepared by PwC, and took 59th place in it with an indicator of 65 million euros.

In 2010, sales of 1C: Enterprises licenses increased in dollar terms by 33% compared to 2009. At the beginning of 2011, growth accelerated, the first quarter was a record in terms of sales of 1C: Enterprises for all the years of operation of 1C, an increase of 47% compared to the same period in 2010.

The share of 1C in the Russian ERP market in 2010 was estimated by IDC at 26%.

The partner network "1C: Franchising" is successfully developing: during 2010, the number of companies included in it increased from 6500 to 7000. According to the results of the survey conducted by 1C in February 2011, the volume of sales of software products and services provided by a typical 1C: Franchisee partner company grew by almost 34% over the year.

At the end of 2010, 1C expected to show revenue growth of 22% (a similar indicator a year earlier amounted to -13%), said its director Boris Nuraliev. The absolute figure, according to CNews Analytics, taking into account the previously provided data and changes in the structure of the company, will be about $620 million. In the future, 3-4 years, 1C is considering the possibility of an IPO and is gradually preparing for this procedure, the company says.

The distribution of imported software products in dollar terms in January-November 2010 increased by 7% compared to the same period last year, still not recovering from last year's fall (-50% in January-November 2009 ).

The distribution of domestic software, measured in rubles, on the contrary, is growing stronger. In January-November 2009, its income increased by 22%, and in the same period of 2010 - by 49%. Commenting on the dynamics of sales of the flagship product, "1C: Enterprises," Nuraliev said: "2010 gives reason for optimism, but not for euphoria." Over the 11 months of the year, license sales grew by 32% in dollar terms, by 25.2% in ruble, and December will be, according to forecasts, the most successful in the history of 1C: Enterprises sales. Revenues from 1C: Enterprises maintenance over the past 11 months of the year increased by 41.4% in dollars and by 35.7% in rubles. According to IDC, the share of 1C increased from 18.7% in 2008 to 22.3% in 2009 in dollar terms.

2009: Decline in own software sales by 35%

Revenue from sales of own software $263 million (according to preliminary data), decreased by 35%. Taking into account this assessment, the largest Russian software manufacturer accounts for slightly less than 14% of all sales in the software market of the Russian Federation.

In the 1C sales structure, the multimedia segment sank the most (-52%). Business software sales decreased by 32%, distribution - by 31%. Speaking about the distribution direction of the 1C business, Boris Nuraliev emphasized that the general purpose software segment demonstrates the decline: dictionaries, translators, graphic editors. But antivirus products and solutions related to information security show an increase in sales (for 11 months of 2009 - by 16% in rubles).

Despite the crisis, sales of domestic software also increased: in January-November 2009 by 25% (in ruble terms). At the beginning of the year, the corporate sector experienced a decrease due to budget savings, but at the end of the year, on the contrary, the number of tenders increased.

Growth in difficult times for the market was shown by the retail direction "1C": the total revenue of retail franchise stores for 11 months of this year amounted to 42.6 million rubles. (compared to 32.4 million for the whole of 2008). Sales of 1C-SoftClub fell by 19%, but remained at the level of 2007. For business applications ("1C: Enterprise"), 1C saw significant growth since September 2009, with a recovery to pre-crisis levels in November-December.

The company's revenue at the end of 2008 amounted to $406 million.

Combating piracy

1C is actively fighting piracy, including in the regions through the Non-Profit Partnership of Software Suppliers (NP SPT), an associate member of the Association of Computer and Information Technology Enterprises (AP KIT). For example, the NP SPT helped to prohibit the distribution of 1C software products on a bittorrent tracker In early December 2007, in Rostov-on-Don, a user who distributed 1C programs through a torrent service was convicted - this was the first case of conviction for spreading counterfeit through the Network in Russia. In November 2008, a 16-year-old user living in Moscow was sentenced to one year in prison for installing counterfeit 1C software (1C: Enterprise).

Acquisition of Beech and Avalon Style Entertainment

  • On July 17, 2008, 1C officially announced the purchase of Buki, a Russian game developer, 52.9% of whose shares belonged to Finam-Information Technologies (26.5%) and Norum (26.4%) investment funds. Analysts then estimated the cost of Buki at $75-85 million. Buka was not integrated into the 1C structure and retained the name and command. Among the reasons why it was decided to buy Buka, 1C called the general trends of consolidation in the Russian gaming market, the unification of strong development teams.
  • On October 30, 2008, 1C announced the completion of a deal to acquire a stake in Avalon Style Entertainment, a well-known Russian developer, creator of one of the most popular and successful domestic series of four-wheel drive simulators. As commented in the company, the signed agreement was another step aimed at strengthening the position of 1C as the largest Russian publisher, developer and distributor of computer games.

Shareholder Meeting Determines New Strategy

In the spring of 2008, the meeting of 1C shareholders decided that the company should follow the path of creating a multidisciplinary holding company, which occupies a leading position in the software market in the CIS. The company agreed with the slogan "Get big - Or get niche - Or get out" (Become big - or become niche - or get out) and opted for growth.

"The strategy for creating a large enterprise is a matter of ambition," says Boris Nuraliev, head of 1C. "We want to build a large sustainable efficient corporation that is competitive against other giants, including foreign ones."

If earlier "1C" preferred to solve all problems itself, today the basic principle of the company is formulated as "Rely on your own strength and cooperation with leaders." As a result, around a strong parent company, a group of joint companies is created, strong and/or promising in their sectors of the software market. It is this model in "1C" that is considered optimal at the coming stage of consolidation of the IT market in Russia.

Many areas of business that were previously part of the parent company 1C have been withdrawn to subsidiaries and joint ventures:

  • development, publication and sale of games - in the joint venture "1C: SoftClub";
  • retail direction, including 47 stores, in "1C: Interest," etc.

This led to a reduction in the revenue of the parent company and the real state of affairs now reflects the aggregate performance of the group of companies.

1C creates companies with different degrees of participation, but the most effective was the joint ownership model, where the co-owner, not the hired manager, takes over the management of the company. According to Boris Nuraliyev, joint companies are more profitable than branches and show more efficient business growth in general. That is why recently the company has been trying to transfer its subsidiaries to joint companies. Total sales growth of 1C subsidiaries and joint companies in the first five months of 2011 compared to the same period of 2010 was 27%.

Subsidiaries and joint companies of the holding are established with different ownership shares. Recently, a scheme has been used more often, in which "1C" controls 51%, and the partner - 49%. In the first six months of 2011 alone, 7 new subsidiaries and joint ventures were established. The total number of joint ventures exceeds a hundred. Among them are companies in the Netherlands, Great Britain, Hungary, Bulgaria, Germany, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Moldova, China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Vietnam.

1C recognizes that the selected model does not correspond to Western theory.

"Everything that we did best just does not correspond to Western patterns," says Boris Nuraliev. - Nowhere in the world there is such franchising of information technologies. No major country has such a share of one accounting product. Nowhere in the segment of integrated ERP-systems is there an increase in the share of the local supplier due to a decrease in the share of international vendors. "

For rapid growth, it is planned to use the attraction of additional capital through the placement of shares on the stock exchange (10-20%). According to the company's representatives, an international audit is expected in 2011. For admission IPO to this procedure must be carried out three years in a row, therefore, the placement can take place no earlier than 2014. Among the disadvantages of publicity in the company include greater openness of the business, less flexibility and more complex mechanisms for making business decisions, to the pros - a clearer demonstration of the company's social responsibility, and the ability to bring together a team of employees and partners through their possible transition to 1C shareholder status. Now many would like to become co-owners of the company, but there is no mechanism acceptable to everyone.

1994: First franchise contracts

  • In parallel, 1C developed its partner network. Instead of opening a huge number of branches, the company settled on the franchising model. The first trial franchise agreements were signed in mid-1994. At that time, there were about 50 companies in the experimental group, while the number of dealers exceeded 600. Along the way, the company was developing a system of 1C: Enterprise programs, with a architecture focused on a high degree of adaptability.
  • 1994 - Start 1C: Accounting 6.0 for Windows
  • 1995 - 1C: Accounting 6.0 for Windows. The number of personnel was 65 people.
  • 1996 - Release of the 1C: Enterprise 7.0 platform.
  • In the summer of 1996, the first product of the system was released - "1C: Trade," and as a result, by the end of the year the number of franchisees increased to 414. In the same 1996, 1C began developing and selling computer games.
  • 1997 - 1C: Enterprise 7.5 Platform Release
  • 1998 - The number of personnel reached 143 people.
  • 1999 - 1C: Enterprise 7.7 Platform Release
  • 2002 - 1C: Enterprise 8.0 Platform Release
  • 2003 - Release of 1C: Trade Management 8.0
  • 2004 - 1C: Plant Management 8.0 System Release
  • 2006 - Release of beta version of "1C: Enterprise 8.1" platform
  • In 2007, the first release of the 1C: Consolidation program was released.

1992: Issue of the Mini-Accounting Programme

  • The idea of creating an accounting program arose in 1992. Then the accounting in the new company was headed by Boris Nuraliev's brother - Sergey Nuraliev, who was professionally involved in the automation of accounting operations. It was he who developed the ARM of the chief accountant of the company "1C." This product was presented at the Komtek exhibition in April 1992 and aroused unusually high interest from enterprises. Minibuhgalteria 1C, unlike traditional computer programs, was a fairly easy-to-install "box" solution that allows replication, which quickly made it popular in the business environment.
  • 1993 - Issue of Accounting for DOS

1991: Establishment of 1C

With the approval of the institute's management and the consent of Nuraliev, part of the activity began to be carried out on behalf of 1C, established in 1991.

Initially, "1C" was the name of its own search engine: no more than 1C (seconds) was required to obtain the required information. The choice of the name of the company turned out to be extremely successful - in any directory or exhibition catalog, "1C" was always in first place. In addition, "c" is the only key on the keyboard, the writing of which in Cyrillic and Latin coincide.

In 1991, the creation of a network of dealers for the implementation of "Lotus 1 - 2 - 3 version 2.2 Russian"

1987-1990: Goskomstat. Background

Since 1987 - Boris Nuraliev worked at the design institute of the State Committee for Statistics, where he served as head of the self-accounting department. Even then, Nuraliev, together with his team, created a system with requests in a natural language, similar to modern search engines, as part of an order to create a database of statistical indicators of the national economy of the Soviet Union. Then two acquaintances of Nuraliev - Vadim Rappoport and Yuri Krichiver developed a device called "electronic teletype." In fact, it was a tool for connecting an IBM-compatible computer to telegraph communication networks, which in those years were in excess. Nuraliev himself wrote a program for the device. As a result, about 6 thousand such devices were sold.

The next step towards the creation of the company was the signing by the self-accounting branch of Nuraliyev of a contract for the distribution of Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheets. At first glance, this task seemed unsolvable: in 1990, the distribution of the program cost about $500 dollars, while the average salary in the country was about $12. However, enterprises had funds, as well as the needs for modern accounting and analysis software, which at that time were spreadsheets. In addition, successful sales of electronic teletype helped the Nuraliyev team develop a partner base. The self-accounting department has become the most profitable in the institute. It was then that the company "1C" appeared.
